Description

The scholarships are granted for specialization, master's, Ph.D., and medical specialization courses as well as for postgraduate-level research, postdoctoral stays, postgraduate mobility programs, artistic creation residences, high-level conferences, residences for Mexicanist researchers, residences for media collaborators, and special chairs for visiting professors.

There will be a total of five scholarships to be shared amongst all member countries of the South Pacific Forum.

Eligibility
  • Preference will be given to candidates that:Study topics that are of priority for the development of their country.
  • Work in areas that are particularly important for their country¡¦s institutional development.
  • Apply for graduate programs not available in their country.
  • Study or conduct research in institutions located outside of the Mexico City metropolitan area.
  • Hold faculty or research positions at public universities or scientific research centers in their country.
  • Are public officials in charge of areas or programs of special interest to their country.
  • Work on human, social or economic development programs, with marginalized groups or in socially deprived or economically depressed areas.

    Adelaide Outstanding Achiever Scholarships International (AOASI)

    Description:

    Up to 10 Adelaide Achiever Scholarships may be available to international students undertaking study at the University of Adelaide.

    The scholarships provides a waiver of full tuition fees for up to 4 years. Scholarships are available for the first 4 years only of a double degree.

    Overview:
    The scholarship is a one-off reduction in your commencing tuition fees to the value of AUD$6000. The scholarships are available for international students who have completed senior high school overseas equivalent to Queensland Year 12 (eg. A Levels, International Baccalaureate, etc). The scholarship is not available to students who have already commenced a postsecondary qualification or who are already studying in Australia. The successful applicants must be classed as an international student in Australia (Australian permanent residents and Australian citizens are not eligible).

    There are three programs available under the Australia Awards. They are:

    Endeavour Awards is the Australian Government’s internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program providing opportunities for citizens of the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe and the America’s to undertake study, research or professional development in Australia.     Australian Leadership Awards (ALA)  focus on developing leaders who can influence social and economic policy reform and development outcomes in both their own countries and in the Asia-Pacific region. ALAs provide scholarship support for postgraduate studies in Australia and short-term fellowship opportunities in specialised research, study or professional attachments through participating Australian organisations.     Australian Development Scholarships (ADS) aim to contribute to the long-term development needs of Australia's partner countries to promote good governance, economic growth and human development.
